I was contacted by a mother who was looking for someone to make use of the space underneath the stairs into the basement. It was wasted but no one she called was able to make her idea into a reality. I assured her I could make it happen.
The Basement Bunk Bed makes fun, efficient, and cozy use of the often wasted wedge-shaped area underneath the stairs. There is also lighting for each bed for reading or late-night storytelling.
She wanted built-in bunk beds in the wasted wedge-shaped space under those stairs. It was for her kids’ sleepovers and slumber parties, as well as visiting friends and family. She wanted it to look special while blending well with the rest of the basement.
Pictured here is the finished product that features two twin beds. It is fun, efficient, and cozy. There is even special lighting for each bed for reading or late-night storytelling. Please contact me if you have a custom idea that needs to become reality.
